Peel Adhesion

Description

The ChemInstruments AR-1000 Adhesion/ Release Tester performs adhesion and release tests on pressure sensitive adhesive laminate samples to ASTM, DIN, PSTC, TLMI, FINAT and AFERA standards.

The sample is peeled at a selected speed and at a chosen angle, which is usually 90 or 180°. A load cell measures the peel/release force and this is recorded in the data acquisition unit. The results are subsequently processed locally or in an external PC. The sensitivity of the test may be adjusted by changing the load cell.
